Sisson Meadow
A restored wetland boardwalk in the heart of downtown with unobstructed mountain views the whole way. Easy, quiet, walkable from the Inn. Graciously and meticulously maintained by volunteers from the Siskiyou Land Trust.

A Quiet Path in the Middle of Town
Tucked into the heart of downtown Mount Shasta, Sisson Meadow is a 7.5-acre nature preserve that feels worlds away from the streets nearby. A gentle boardwalk winds through spring-fed wetland and flowering meadow, with benches, picnic spots, and a small pond reflecting the mountain. It offers 360-degree views that take in Mount Shasta, Black Butte, Mount Eddy, and the distant peaks of the Castle Crags. Restored and protected by the Siskiyou Land Trust, it's a quiet, easy, family-friendly place to slow down, watch the light shift on the mountain, and breathe. Flat and largely accessible, the meadow is a favorite for a sunset stroll or a peaceful pause between exploring the shops and restaurants steps away.
