The room
Most family rooms ask you to make a trade-off: either the parents get a real bed or the kids do. The Bunk Suite doesn't ask you to choose. At nearly 400 square feet — one of the largest rooms in Mount Shasta — it fits a plush king bed and a full-over-queen bunk, all in one wide-open space.
The open layout is deliberate. Rather than splitting the family across separate rooms, the Bunk Suite keeps everyone in the same space: kids claim the bunk, parents decompress on the king, and the whole crew can still debrief the day before lights out. A table with chairs gives you a central spot for card games, snack distribution, or spreading out a trail map for tomorrow.
The renovated bathroom has a full tub-and-shower combo — a genuine gift when you're cleaning up a family after a dusty hike. Individual climate control, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and fast fiber WiFi handle the rest.
Beds & capacity
Plush, wide, and made up with crisp linens. The bed is the room's quiet centerpiece.
Sized with a roomy lower queen bed and a top bunk the kids will instantly claim.
Max 5 guests (max 4 adults). Upper bunk is sized for children — adults should use the king or lower bunk. Cribs (pack-n-plays) available on request at no charge. No rollaway beds.

Spacious marble vanity, a rainfall shower head, and incredible water pressure. We kept a full tub-and-shower combination intact here — giving families and groups a highly practical setup for washing off trail dirt at the end of the day.

May 1 through September 30: Cancellations or changes made within 7 days of arrival result in a charge of 100% of the reservation cost.
October 1 through April 30: Our standard cancellation policy applies — one night’s room and tax for cancellations within 72 hours of arrival.
